Cernel at eCommerce Expo London 2026
Cernel takes a stand and a speaking slot at eCommerce Expo at ExCeL London on 23 and 24 September. Five of the team will be there to talk product data with UK retailers.

What the event is
eCommerce Expo runs at ExCeL London on 23 and 24 September 2026. It is the largest e-commerce trade show in the UK and it is co-located with Technology for Marketing, so the two floors share visitors and a joint conference programme. The organisers put the audience at more than 10,000 senior e-commerce professionals from both B2B and B2C businesses, alongside more than 200 solution providers and more than 200 speakers across ten conference theatres.
The 2026 programme is built around the theme of building smarter commerce. The sessions group into four areas: driving profitable growth, building customer journeys that convert, running operations that hold margin, and getting a clearer view of the supplier market. Most of the content is CPD accredited.
Why Cernel is going
The UK is one of the markets Cernel is building out, and eCommerce Expo is where a large share of UK e-commerce decision makers turn up in one room over two days. That matters for a product like ours. Product data work is rarely the thing a retailer puts at the top of the agenda, but it sits underneath almost everything else on that agenda. Catalogue quality decides what on-site search can find, what a feed can be filtered on, how much a merchandiser has to do by hand, and how fast a brand can open a new language or a new channel.
We want to test that argument against the people who live with the problem. Two days of conversations with heads of e-commerce, merchandising leads and digital directors tells us more about how UK retailers actually run enrichment than another month of desk research would.
What we are bringing
Cernel has a stand on the exhibition floor and a session on the Future of Digital Commerce stage at 15:35 on the first day. Five of the team will be there across both days.
On the stand we will walk through the parts of the platform that usually prompt the most questions: classifying a catalogue against a taxonomy, filling category level attributes, generating descriptions and translations that hold the same facts across languages, and preparing feeds for the channels a retailer already sells on. If you bring a sample of your own catalogue, we can talk about it directly rather than through a generic demo.
Who should come and find us
The conversation tends to be most useful if you run a catalogue of a few thousand products or more, if you sell across several countries or languages, or if you are carrying a backlog of missing attributes and thin descriptions that nobody has had time to clear. It is also worth a visit if you are weighing up a PIM project and want to understand where enrichment fits alongside one.
We are equally happy to talk to agencies and consultancies working with retailers on catalogue and feed problems. A lot of the work we do arrives through people who have already diagnosed the issue for a client and need something to fix it with.
If you would like to book a slot in advance rather than take your chances on the floor, get in touch through the website and we will put a time aside. Otherwise, come and say hello. Registration for the show is free through the eCommerce Expo website.
