What Digital Clubhouse is

Digital Clubhouse is a UK e-commerce and digital marketing community based in the north of England. It runs full day events that mix four short talks with a moderated panel and a long stretch of open networking. The regular events are deliberately small, usually around sixty tickets, and they are held in Leeds. The point of the format is that everyone in the room can actually meet everyone else.

Once a year the community runs a larger summit. The 2026 summit takes place in Manchester on 2 October and draws roughly 150 people. The audience is mostly small and mid sized direct to consumer brands, with the agencies and technology partners who work with them.

What Cernel is doing there

Cernel is the Platinum sponsor of the 2026 summit. The package includes a stand, speaking slots and sector exclusivity for product data and enrichment, which means we are the only company on that beat in the room. Three of the team will be there.

We also plan to be at the Digital Clubhouse event in Leeds on 26 November, so there is a second chance to catch us before the end of the year.

Why this event

Most of the events on our calendar are large trade shows. This one is the opposite, and that is the reason we picked it. A direct to consumer brand with a lean team has a very particular version of the product data problem. There is no data team, no PIM, and often one person who owns the catalogue alongside three other jobs. Product copy gets written when someone has an afternoon free. Attributes get filled in for the products that sell and skipped for the rest. Translations get put off until a new market is already live.

These are the businesses where enrichment work has the clearest effect, because there is no existing process absorbing it. They are also the hardest to reach through a stand at a 10,000 person show, where the attention goes to the larger logos. A room of 150 people over a full day is a better setting for the kind of conversation that actually goes somewhere.

What we want out of it

Three things. First, a clearer read on how smaller UK brands handle catalogue work today, including the spreadsheets and the freelancers, so we can be honest about where Cernel replaces something and where it does not. Second, feedback on the parts of the platform aimed at teams without a dedicated data function. Third, relationships with the agencies in the room, who often see the problem before the brand names it.

Come and talk to us

If you are attending, find us at the stand or stop one of us during the breaks. Useful things to bring: a rough product count, the number of markets or languages you sell in, and an example of a product page you are not happy with. That is usually enough to work out in ten minutes whether there is anything here for you.

If you are not attending and would still like to speak, get in touch through the website. We would rather have a short call than send you a deck.
